My most successful image has to be the black and white image I took. I think it's the best because of the overall composition; I didn't stick to a specific composition, but I do think the black and white gives it an aesthetic tone. I believe the most difficult aspect of the assignment was attempting to categorize some of my images; there were so many to choose from, and many of the photos had to be retaken multiple times. I believe that in order to strengthen this photo, I should edit it more closely; becoming more familiar with my editing software and making it appear softer and less sharp would benefit the image.

I love the Backlighting photo, the sun creating an outline of the sky while highlighting the clouds are so beautiful. The image draws me to the sun that is slightly peaking out of the back. I think I'd make an edit the exposure a little darker to give it a more aethereal look as well as bumping up the saturation to make the colors much richer. But otherwise I love the calming aspect of most sky photos - Near Rubin

I really like the orbs (are they lamps?) and the texture they bring to the image. I also like how you can see them trailing off in the background. My eyes are drawn to the orb on the front right, specifically where it overlaps with the lamp behind it. It is hard to separate the two orbs at first glance, and it forces you to look closer. I think in order to improve this photo the could have been from a little lower. Overall though, it is a very interesting photo, especially with how the orbs are seemingly glowing.
